Woman injured in Sturgis Township crash

A Sturgis woman was injured after she was involved in a two-vehicle collision last week in Sturgis Township.

Sheriff’s deputies were called shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of M-66 and Bogen Road. Investigators said an SUV driven by 53-year-old Nannette Schroeder struck the rear of a truck driven by Daniel Haney, 26, of LaGrange.

Authorities said Haney’s truck was stopped behind a vehicle waiting to turn left from northbound M-66 to westbound Bogen Road.

Haney was not injured. Schroeder was treated at the scene.
