Frederick Wwilliam Ayers, age 67, of Marcellus, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the comfort of his home.
Frederick was born in Kalamazoo on June 17, 1954, the son of Frederick Ayers, Sr. and Lorna (Evanson) Ayers.
On June 17, 1988, in Kalamazoo, he married the love of his life Mararet Louise Ciardullo who survives him in death.
Fred loved spending time with his family and became a great-grandfather in April of this year. He loved to work and could not stand to sit still. He loved his motorcycle and taking road trips to the U.P. and has ridden all over. Frederick was a very social people person, he enjoyed working in the garden and outdoors, he also loved spending time with his animals.
Frederick is survived by his wife Margaret Ayers; daughter Dawn (Geoff) Jania of Hammond, Indiana; son Robert (JoBeth) Harrison of Chicago; grandchildren Dustin Eggerding, Zac (Lindsey) Eggerding, and Sierra Rygwelski; great-grandchildren Autumn Kane; sisters Linda and Kathy (Pat) Evanson; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Schoolcraft American Legion, 425 E. Clay St., Schoolcraft, MI 49087.
