Police investigate theft in Park Township

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle in Park Township.

Investigators were told a catalytic converter was taken from a 1997 Winnebago motorhome between June 14 and July 12. The motorhome was parked at a residence in the 19000 block of M-60.

Troopers wish to remind the public that thefts of catalytic converters is a crime on the upswing, and advise anyone who leaves a vehicle parked and unattended to be especially vigilant.
