Sharron Dutoi, age 79, of Marcellus, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her loving family.
Sharron was born in Mishawaka on July 19, 1941 the daughter of Wilbur and Mae Hurst. On August 8, 1959, in Mishawaka, she married Richard Eugene Dutoi, who survives her in death.
Sharron worked in health care as a cook and retired from Heartland Nursing Home in Three Rivers.
Sharron and Richard were married 62 years and were devoted members of Wakelee United Methodist Church. Sharron enjoyed spending her time outdoors gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family and friends, and enjoyed volunteering in the community to help in any way she could.
Sharron is survived by her husband Richard; sons Frank (Bobbie) Dutoi of Florida, Richard (Kim) Dutoi of Dowagiac, Chad (Missy) Dutoi of Lake, Michigan, and Keith (Glenda) Dutoi of Marcellus; foster daughter Cindy Williams of Chicago; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; half-brothers Sam Lovelace; sisters Shirley Carl, Sandy Wade, Susie Cole, Sonya Phillips; and half sister Cheryl Sells.
Sharron is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Mae; and brother in law Norm Carl.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Marcellus VFW on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 1 to 4pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Three Rivers Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com.
