Thomas Loudenslager, 79

Thomas R. Loudenslager, age 79, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

Thomas was born on July 22, 1942 in Fawn River Township, a son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Decker) Loudenslager.

Thomas graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1960. Following high school, Thomas served his country in the United States Navy serving on submarines.

Thomas married Kathy Tolpi in San Diego, California on March 5, 1965.

Surviving Thomas is his wife Kathy Loudenslager of South Haven, daughters: Carie (Joseph) Barnes of Dripping Springs, Texas, and Amanda (Robert) Bales of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, siblings: Mary Loudenslager – Yoder, and Dixie (Dennis) Schumaker, grandchildren: Kaleb and Brayden Barnes and Makayla and Madison Bales, niece Amy Mumby, and nephew John Schumaker.

Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter Gretchen, mother-in-law Berniece Tolpi, and two brothers in law Gerald Tolpi and Dick Yoder.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Colon American Legion Post 454, or the Colon Food Bank.
