Dale Cowham, 87

Dale LeRoy Cowham, age 87, of Marcellus, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 in the comfort of his home with family by his side.

Dale was born in Three Rivers on January 30, 1934, the son of Leon Phillip Cowham and Amelia Beatrice (Curtis) Cowham.

On July 11, 1970, in Lawrence, Michigan he married Regina Gail Greene, who preceded him in death.

Dale was a laborer in the auto industry, working for many years at and later retiring from Checker Motor Company in Kalamazoo.

He also enjoyed working on cars and tinkering, and he could fix just about anything himself.

Dale is survived by his daughters Rebecca (Russell) Shafer of Mattawan, Denise Redish of Pompano Beach, Florida, Joyce Andrews of Grand Rapids; grand-children Austin Scott Belkowski-Cowham and Taylor Andrews; and nephew Russell Allen Sutton of Allegan.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife Regina Gail Cowham; parents Phillip (Leon) and Bea (Amelia) Cowham; and sister Ann Marie Sutton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, 52780 M-40, Marcellus, Michigan 49067. Time of services are currently pending.
