Jack Keller, 73

Jack Eugene Keller, age 73 of Mottville, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. Jack was born in Hastings on March 10, 1948, a son of Wesley and Patricia (Smith) Keller. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1966 and went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1967-1972. He was a lifelong tool and die maker. On August 30, 2003, he married Mary Peacock in Mottville. Jack’s passion was restoring custom hot rods and building racing engines. He was a member of the Constantine American Legion.

Surviving are his wife Mary Keller of Mottville; sons Jeff Keller of Mottville, James Meyer of Mottville, and Walter Alexander (Katie) Meyer III of Nappanee; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister Vickie (David) Cook of Hastings; brother Kenneth (Cathy) Keller of Hastings; and his dog Daisy.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Daniel and Terry Keller.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on September 25, 2021 at the Constantine American Legion Arthur E. Stears Post 223 (65079 US-131 BUS, Constantine) from 12 to 4 PM, with Military honors being presented at 2 PM.
