Jacob B. Schwartz, age 48, of Burr Oak, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
Jacob was born on November 1, 1972 in Decatur, Indiana, a son to Jake and Mattie (Wickey) Schwartz.
Jacob is survived by his wife Emma (Coblentz) Schwartz of Burr Oak, five children: Elizabeth (Manuel) Wengerd of Burr Oak, Emma (Menno) Wengerd of Burr Oak, Jacob Schwartz of Burr Oak, Benjamin Schwartz and special friend Crystal Miller of Burr Oak, and Steven Schwartz of Burr Oak, his mother Mattie Schwartz of Berne, Indiana, siblings: Martin (Edith) Schwartz, Lucy (Joe) Hilty, and Luann (Joe) Schwartz, grandchildren: Jessica Rose, Menno Ray, and Isaiah Seth.
Jacob was preceded in death by his father Jake B. Schwartz and a daughter Marilyn Jane.
The Schwartz family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 starting at 10 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 starting at 9:30 AM with home ministers officiating. All events will be held at the Emma Schwartz residence at: 33164 Ackey Road Burr Oak, MI 49030. The family was assisted by the Schipper Funeral Home of Colon.
