Paul Richard Kline, age 91, of Marcellus, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 in the comfort of his home.
Paul was born in Marcellus on October 25, 1929, the son of Raymond Kline and Addie Martha (Ware) Kline.
On July 19, 1952 in Ft. Sheridan, Illinois he married Gloria Clark, who preceded him in death on August 20, 2005.
Paul graduated from Schoolcraft High School in 1950, then spent time serving in the United States Army from 1950-1952. Paul was a resident of the Marcellus and Schoolcraft areas for most of his life. One of his favorite past times was to fly fish at the Two Hearted River, which he did for over 50 years. He was formerly employed as a maintenance man with Standard Oil Co. and Marcellus Public Schools. Paul was a member of Cass County Retired School Personnel and served 21 years on the Marcellus Fire Department.
Paul is survived by his daughters Bonnie Smith of Marcellus, Carol (Dennis) Gokey of Mattawan, Ann Bull of Anderson, Indiana; grandchildren Brendan (Caitlyn) Smith, Devan Smith, Haleigh (Jeremiah) Leslie, Garrett (Sara) Gokey; great-grandchildren Ryland and Ellerie Smith; half-sister Virginia Hamel of Lawton; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Kline; parents Raymond and Addie Kline; brother-in-law Richard Hamel; and two sisters.
