Carol Ann Sonnevil, age 77, of Marcellus, passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 in Kalamazoo.
She was born in Swartz Creek, Michigan on April 20, 1944 the daughter of F. D. and Dorothy (Granger) Bloss.
On November 30, 1963 she married Wayne Lee Sonnevil in Swartz Creek.
Carol enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s ball games as well as quilting, crossword puzzles and fishing.
Carol is survived by her husband Wayne Sonnevil; four sons Scott Sonnevil, Marcellus, Eric (Katherine) Sonnevil, St. Joseph, Carl (Shelly) Sonnevil, Marcellus, Ed (Ronetta) Sonnevil, Jones ; one sister Ilona (David) Hagen of Hastings, one sister in law; Lauren (Joe) Preis, Jones; one brother Roger (Linda) Bloss, of Swartz Creek, and one brother in law; John (Pat) Sonnevil of Lawton.
Carol has 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11.00am Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, 52780 M-40 North, Marcellus. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the funeral home with pastor Mike Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Poe’s Cemetery.
