Jeanne V Wallman Gibbeny, age 76, of Sturgis, died Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital following a short illness.
Jeanne was born on July 20, 1945 in Nottawa Township the daughter of Joel and Vivian (Wilds) Schwartz. She lived in St. Joseph County all of her life. Employed By the Kirsch Company in Sturgis 34 years. She enjoyed traveling , casinos, hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Married to John Humphries they were divorced, Kenneth Wooster and Howard Wallman who preceded her in death. John Gibbeny in 2005, he survives with her Daughter Rita (Gary Lorenz) Humphries. Granddaughters Brittany (Skylar) Bontrager, Sarah (Logan) Webb. Great Grandchildren Claire and Eric Lohse, Harrison Bontrager, Verlo,Arlen, and Mallo Webb and Audrey Bontrager. Brother James Schwartz. Stepsons Rob (Dee) Reeves Beav (Tonya) Gibbeny. Stepdaughter Shelley Gibbeny, Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her Parents, Daughter Carla Humphries, Sister Lois (Dolly) Eling, Brothers Roy and Ed Schwartz.
Visitation on Sunday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where Services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lane Van of The United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
