Mary Hurley, 86

Mary Catherine (Miller) Hurley, age 86, of White Pigeon, died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Borgess Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born on February 25, 1935 in Rensselear, Indiana the daughter of Albert W and Mildred E (Moelhman) Miller.

Mary was a White Pigeon resident since 1974 coming from Rensselear. She was employed by White Pigeon Schools for 25 years as Transportation Supervisor. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served on the Parish Council, Finance Committee, Special Minister and Church volunteer. She enjoyed Cross Stitch and ceramics. Mary enjoyed most of all time with her family.

She married Leo R Hurley May 29, 1954 in Rensselear. He died on March 26, 2015. She is survived by her children Michael of Douglas, Mark of White Pigeon, Daughters Cheri Wolgamood, Cathy Hurley both of White Pigeon. Grandchildren Beth (Eric) Osberg of Colorado, Christi (Brent) Miller of Goshen, Adam (April) Hurley of Constantine, Jordan Hurley of White Pigeon, Dain Hurley of Arizona, Amanda (Mike) Piper of Middlebury, Great Grandchildren Samson, Emery, Jonas, and Cece Osberg. Quinn and Declan Hurley, Haley, Lilly and Mack Piper, Jaxon and Colton Miller, Brothers George (Judy) Miller, Michael (Susan) Miller. Sisters Phyllis Mingear, Rosie (Bill) Davis all from Rensselaer.

Visitation will be on Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon with Rosary Service at 7:30. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church With Rev. Andrew Raczkowski officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Donations to The American Heart Association.
