Boil-water advisory lifted

A boil-water advisory in White Pigeon was lifted Friday afternoon.

Village officials said the measure was discontinued at 12:45 p.m. after a series of samplings showed no bacteria detected.

The village had been under a boil-water advisory since Thursday. A media release indicated the cautionary measure was put into place due to construction-related work.
