Ruth Ann Sabrosky, age 77, of Brooksville, Florida and a longtime former Nottawa resident, passed away July 12, 2021 at Bayfront Health in Brooksville.
She was born May 18, 1944 in Lowell, Massachusetts daughter of the late Charles W. and Viola (Burris) Miller.
Ruth resided in Florida for the past 9 years going there from Nottawa.
On September 5, 1992 she married Dean H. Sabrosky in Florida. He preceded her in death September 21, 1992.
Mrs. Sabrosky had worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for several years and she was a homemaker.
She was an arts and crafter and loved coming up with new craft ideas.
She is survived by her children: Heath (Amy) Walsh of Seminole, FL, Charlene (Buddy) Leckie of Colorado Springs, CO, Buffy (Phillip) Snow of Centreville and Amy (Chuck) McClain of Sturgis; son-in-law: Richard Peffers of Floral City, FL; 16 grandchildren: Amber, Jacob, Daniel, Betty, Melissa, Abigail, Abraham, Thomas, Sarah, Fawn, Jeremy, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Nick, Sarah and Wendy; 25 great grandchildren; brother: Charles Miller; sister: Eleanor Sanger and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter: Heather Peffers and grandson: Donavan.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 26th at the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene in Sturgis. The Rev. John Shoup will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with local arrangements.
