Bob Buhl, 67

Robert L. Buhl, age 67, of Sturgis, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo.
He was born April 3, 1954 in Sturgis, to the late Mary Ruth Crabbs.
Bob resided most of his life in Sturgis.
For over 30 years he had been employed by the Sturgis Foundry and he also was a bus driver for St. Joseph County Transportation Authority, a job he truly enjoyed.
He also enjoyed fishing and collecting knives and loved his dog: Peanut.
Bob is survived by two sons: Trent (Juanita) Buhl of Fort Wayne, and Adam Buhl of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren: Dylan, Nicholas, Alex, Joe, Annabelle and Jacob; one brother: Bruce (Julie) Buhl of White Pigeon and special friend: Jeanne Buhl of Constantine.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Patsy Buhl and mother: Mary Ruth Hahn.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate and honor the life of Robert Buhl will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Dec. 7th at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis. Private burial of the remains will take place at Sturgis Memorial Gardens in Sturgis.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
