Constantine – Parks & recreation plan approved

Members of the Constantine Village Council recently approved a five-year parks and recreation plan.

In 2022, the plan calls for installation of a concrete pad at Riverview Park pavilion; chains for swings; painting the cannon and park equipment at Cannon Park; and a new drinking fountain.

A year later, the village plans to support construction of a $100,000 splash pad with a pump house and new well.

In 2024, the council intends to add new playground equipment, with a rock-climbing wall, soccer net and Little League fencing. In the following 12 months, plans call for the installation of a dock at West Water Park.

Finally, in 2026, the plan will conclude with the continuation of dock-installation to the east end of the boardwalk, to connect with Fawn River.
