Multiple drug arrests made following investigation

An investigation centering on controlled substances resulted in eight arrests.

Sheriff Mark Lillywhite said the investigation started Monday and concluded Wednesday. He said deputies initiated eight separate incidents involving violations of controlled substances.

As a result, eight suspects were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, or Hydrocodone. Investigations took place in Fawn River, Constantine, Mottville and Park townships; the village of Centreville; and the city of Three Rivers.

A 32-year-old White Pigeon man and a 39-year-old Three Rivers woman were arrested for possession of meth, Lillywhite said. Deputies are requesting charges through the prosecutor’s office for the six other suspects found in possession.
