Trey Edward Orban, age 26, of Burr Oak, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 12, 1995 in Sturgis, son of Kelly Melchi and Michael Orban.
Trey resided his whole life in the Sturgis and Burr Oak area and attended Burr Oak High School.
He was a welder by trade and had been employed by L & W Welding in Middlebury.
Trey enjoyed music, writing stories and poems, drawing, riding bicycles and dirt bikes and he loved playing with his nephew: Ashton and his dog Spike.
He is survived by his mother: Kelly Melchi of Sturgis; father: Michael Orban of Sturgis; sister: Tori Melchi of Sturgis; nephew: Ashton Kidd; grandparents: Deborah and Don Mohney of Sturgis; great grandmother: Charlene Orban of Sturgis; several aunts, uncles and cousins including his Aunt: Kathy Melchi and cousin: Austin Haley.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dixie Melchi and Edward Melchi.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Trey Orban will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
