Glen Oaks celebrates re-opening of Technology Wing

Glen Oaks Community College recently staged an event called “Transformation x 2,” as the college launched the E & F Wing Capital Outlay Project, and also celebrated the grand re-opening of the Technology Wing.

The E & F Wing project dates to 2017, when the board approved the concept of applying to the state for a capital outlay project to renovate much of the original facility and the Tech Building.

As for the re-opening of the Tech Wing, Lawrence O’Dell cut the ribbon to commemorate completion of the project. In the fall of 1971, when the original tech wing was opened, he was secretary of the GOCC board and chair of the building committee. He served as master of ceremonies at the original dedication of the building.
