Lois Warner, 93

Lois M. Warner, age 93, of Shipshewana, and a former longtime Sturgis resident, passed away early Tuesday morning December 7, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home in LaGrange.
She was born March 29, 1928 near Angola, daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Keller) West.
When Lois was 8 years old the family moved to Sturgis where she was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1945.
On April 19, 1946 she married Ted K. Warner at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis. He preceded her in death January 4, 2006.
Lois retired from the Kirsch Company in Sturgis following many years of dedicated employment.
She is survived by one daughter: Dr. Janelle Warner Ashby of Shipshewana, soon to be relocating to Sturgis; one sister Willa Wallace and family of Sturgis; sister-in-law: Marilyn Warner and family of Anaheim, California and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Services will be private.
