Phillip L. Parker, Jr., age 5, of Centreville, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 in Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born January 7, 2016 in Three Rivers, son of Jessica Reingardt and the late Phillip L. Parker, Sr.
PJ resided in Centreville for the past 2 years. He had also lived in Three Rivers where he was currently a kindergarten student at Hoppin Elementary School.
He loved playing with his brothers and sisters and building things out of Legos with his dad.
He is survived by his mother: Jessica Reingardt of Centreville; two sisters: Jemma Reingardt and Phyllis Parker; two brothers: Prayson Parker and Jesse Reingardt; his grandparents: Kevin and Mary Reingardt of Constantine and Patricia Parker of Michigan City, Indiana; great grandparents: Jesse and Joyce Plance of Mendon; aunts and uncles: Kristina Reingardt of Constantine, Jeremy Reingardt of Jones, Leondra Parker of South Bend, Stepheonia Parker, Trayeon Austin, Demariea Parker, Cherae Parker and Bobby Parker all of Michigan City; cousin: Treyshawn Parker of South Bend.
He was preceded in death by his father
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Radiant Life Church, 907 N. Nottawa St. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the lives of Phillip L. Parker, Jr. and Phillip L. Parker Sr. will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Ryan Bibb will officiate. In accordance with family wishes cremation will follow the service. Private burial of the remains will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers at a later date.
