Robert Louis Mathiak, age 64, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at his residence in LaGrange.
He was born Feb. 16, 1957, in Kalamazoo to George Arthur and Julia Belle (Spalla) Mathiak.
Surviving are three children, Robert (Abbie) Mathiak of Angola, Danielle A. Mathiak of Elkhart, Myranda (Korrie) Owen of Three Rivers; six grandchildren; four siblings, Bill (Donna) Mathiak of Detroit, Rick (Julia) Mathiak of Battle Creek, Phil (Janet) Mathiak of Bristol, Indiana, George Mathiak of Elkhart, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Arthur and Jack.
Robert enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Kalamazoo.
Memorial contributions may be given to any drug abuse organization.
