William Copper, Jr., age 70, of Three Rivers, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Three Rivers where he was a patient for the past three years. He was born in Chicago on May 7, 1951 the son of William and Maebell (McCloud) Copper. He graduated from Three Rivers High School where he was a member of the basketball team, and later attended Glen Oaks Community College. He worked as a lineman for Michigan Power Company for over 25 years.
William is survived by two daughters, Oya and Rashanda; two sisters, Yvonne Copper and Jacquelyn Gordon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a sister, Marilyn Lawton.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be conducted and a private memorial service will be held later. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
