Beverly L. Weinberg, age 88, of Colon, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Birch Meadows AFC in Three Rivers.
Beverly was born on February 7, 1933, in Hillsdale, a daughter of the late Ivan and Bernice (Hiller) Draper.
Beverly graduated from Hillsdale High School with the class of 1951.
On January 24, 1954, she married Tracy A. Weinberg in Banker, Michigan. He would precede her in death on April 29, 2007.
Beverly retired from Maxitrol in Colon after 20 plus years of employment. She loved playing cards with her card group, blue grass music, traveling with Tracy in their 5th wheel, and most specially GG loved time spent with her great grandchildren.
Beverly is survived by her three children: James A. (Barbara) Weinberg of Colon, Robert D. Weinberg of Colon, and Julie (Daryl) Hochstetler of Colon, grandchildren: Bryan, Amy, Josh, Jenna, Justin, Spencer, and Kassandra, great grandchildren: Tom, Ben, Danielle, Montana, June and Jace, a brother Dan Draper and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a son Thomas D. Weinberg, a granddaughter Jaime, and siblings: Martha Davis, Sondra Wagaman, and Butch Draper.
The Weinberg family will have a private graveside service at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon. A celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date. Condolences and memories can be left for the family at Schipperfuneralhome.com.
