Cheryl Webb, 62

Cheryl Lynn Webb, age 62, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday evening, January 19, 2022 at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.
She was born September 4, 1959 in Sturgis, daughter of the late Lawrence Earl and Agatha Jane (High) Stratton.
Cheryl was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1977.
On November 1, 1980 she married Stephen J. Webb at the First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis.
Cheryl had been employed as an extrusion operator at Rehau Plastics in Sturgis for 21 years and had also worked at Michiana Container in Sturgis.
She loved riding her motorcycle and many Gumby adventures in her canoe bike. The most important thing in Cheryl’s life was her family. She truly cherished time spent with each of them especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate: Stephen “Curly”; two daughters: Katie Walters of Sturgis and Rebeka (Jeff Coleman) Webb of Romulus; the two grandchildren she adored: Parker Alan Walters and Agatha Jane Coleman and one brother: Larry Stratton of Louisville, Kentucky.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate and honor Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date in the summer.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
