Fresh food distributions planned

South Michigan Food Bank has announced its 10 Fresh Food Distributions this month in St. Joseph County.

Starting next week, the first event of the month will be at 3:30 Feb. 7 at Burr Oak High School. Next up will be 4 o’clock Feb. 8 at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centreville. A distribution will follow at 4 p.m. Feb. 10 at First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis.

Three events take place Feb. 17, starting at 10:30 a.m. at Gateway Village Apartments in Sturgis, 3 to 5 p.m. at Mendon High School and 4:30 p.m. at Colon High School.

Then, at 10 a.m. Feb. 19, The Huss Project in Three Rivers will be the next distribution site.

February’s distributions conclude with a 4 o’clock Feb. 22 event at White Pigeon High School, 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at Doyle Community Center in Sturgis and 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Feb. 24 at Constantine High School.
