Gregory M. Bojanich, age 69, of Constantine, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home. Greg was born in Sturgis on February 29, 1952, a son of Peter and Eileen (Watson) Bojanich. He graduated from Constantine High School in 1970. On June 26, 1971, he married Kimberlee Moord at the Constantine Messiah Lutheran Church.
Greg first worked at E.L. Nickell for 10 years. For the next 29 years, he worked as a millwright at GM Hydromatic (American Axle). He then did maintenance at Pioneer for 9 years. Greg, along with his wife, Kim, were lifelong members of Constantine Messiah Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed spending time in his garden, and farming with local farmers. Greg volunteered for the Constantine Fire Department for many years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and any activities his children and grandchildren were involved in.
Surviving Greg are his wife of 50 years, Kimberlee Bojanich of Constantine; son Chad (Karen) Bojanich of Constantine; daughter Niki (Mike) Tulley of Constantine; son Mark (Leslie) Bojanich of Middlebury; grandchildren Macey and Madi Tulley, Evyn Bojanich, and Beau, Blake, and Campbell Bojanich; and brother Scott (Trish) Bojanich of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Michael.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Private family services will be held and the interment of ashes will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given in Greg’s honor to Constantine Messiah Lutheran Church.
