Margaret Ida Hall-Vincent, age 97, of Colon, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Thurston Woods Village.
Margaret was born on July 30, 1924 in Detroit, a daughter to the late Ralph and Hulda (Byers) Crane.
Margaret married William H. Hall on December 7, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2006. On September 15, 2017, Margaret married Lester V. Vincent.
Margaret worked for many years at the Maxitrol Co. in Colon. She retired from Maxitrol after many years of service. Margaret was a woman of faith, and she was very proud of that. She enjoyed singing and crocheting.
Surviving Margaret is her husband Lester V. Vincent of Colon, children: Raymond (Joyce) Hall of Orland, IN, Roger (Mary) Hall of Colon, David (Verna) Hall of Colon, and Phyllis (John) Grenke of Bronson, daughter-in-law Barbara Hall of Colon, Brother David (Marilyn) Crane of Ypsilanti, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Besides her parents Ralph & Hulda Crane and husband William Hall, Margaret was preceded in death by her children: Nelson Hall, Marlene Hall, and Hope Hall, and three sisters.
The Hall-Vincent family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD in Colon. A funeral service celebrating the life of Margaret will take place at 11 AM on Thursday, January 27, 2022, also at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery following and pastor Trent Hammond will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Crossroads Bible Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
