Michigan reported fewer coronavirus cases in the week ending Feb. 13, adding 29,804 new cases. That’s down 50.2 percent from the previous week’s tally.
St. Joseph County reported 129 cases and three deaths in the most recent week. A week earlier, it had reported 391 cases and five deaths. Throughout the pandemic, it has reported 13,436 cases and 189 deaths.
In Michigan, cases fell in 82 counties, with the steepest declines in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.
The highest weekly outbreaks on a per-person basis were in Schoolcraft, Chippewa and Gratiot counties.
