Glen Oaks Community College plans to feature a “Health and Education Career Fair” later this month.
The event is set for 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the concourse.
Organizers said the career fair is geared toward people interested in learning more about health-care education.
Representatives from health-care facilities will explain what they offer. Also involved are universities that offer a path for a registered nurse to earn a bachelor of science in nursing.
Sara Birch, assistant dean of health sciences at Glen Oaks, along with Christina Steele, director of the Allied Health program, and Anne Fries have been co-organizing the health fair.
