During the 2020-2021 school year, 11% were home-schooled. The St. Joseph County Commission on Aging is always interested on what can be done to provide assistance for our Armed Forces Veterans. If you’re a Veteran, you’ll want to make a note of this. The US Department of Veterans Affairs in Battle Creek is available to meet with you should you have any questions, concerns, or just want to learn more about what Veterans Affairs can do for you. If you live near Sturgis, they can meet with you the second Thursday of each month from 11:30AM – 1PM at the Oaks Enrichment Center, 306 North Franks Avenue. If you reside near Three Rivers, they can meet with you at the Rivers Enrichment Center, 1200 West Broadway, the fourth Tuesday of each month from 11:30AM – 1PM.
