Jane I. Lewis, age 92, of LaGrange, died Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Life Care Center of LaGrange.
Ms. Lewis was born on September 1, 1929, in LaGrange to Omer R. and M. Lucille (Tucker) Lewis; they preceded her in death.
Ms. Lewis lived for many years in Mt. Clemens and Kalamazoo, and retired as a medical tech from Three Rivers Area Hospital.
Surviving is her sister, Loreen Schlemmer of LaGrange; her brother, Tom (Doris) Lewis of Spring Hill, FL; three nephews, Phil Schlemmer of Kentwood, MI, Bob (Deb) Schlemmer of LaGrange, and Kyle Lewis of South Lake Tahoe, CA; two nieces, Carrie Lewis (Nate Hartzler) of Nashville, and Becky Lewis of South Lake Tahoe, CA; a great niece, Erin Schlemmer (Rocky Fischer) of Ann Arbor; and a great-great-nephew Max Fischer of Ann Arbor.
A funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 0050 N 100 E, LaGrange. Father Osman Ramos will officiate.
Burial will follow the mass at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.
