Michael Roberts, 83

Michael B. Roberts, age 83, of Sturgis, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo after a long battle with Lung Cancer.
He was born July 11, 1938 in Allegan, a son to the late Maurice and Fern (Kermean) Roberts. .
On Dec. 20, 2001 in Sturgis, he married Fern Brock.
Michael retired from Parma Tube in Sturgis, where he had worked for over 30 years as a Purchasing Agent.
Surviving are his wife: Fern; 3 daughters: Kelly Roberts-Curtiss and Wendy Roberts, both of Traverse City, and Carrie (Rick) Harris of Georgia; 3 stepchildren: Michael Hart and Stacie Hart both of Sturgis, and Jeff Hart of Chicago; 6 grandchildren; one sister: Karen (John) Booth of Kansas City, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to his wishes there will be no services as he has donated his body to the University of Michigan Anatomical Donation Program. Memorial donations in his memory may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, envelopes are available at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
