Police search for stolen car

State police troopers are appealing to the public for help with locating a stolen car involved in a hit-and-run incident recently.

The vehicle in question, a 2003 Saturn, was involved in a crash over the weekend at U.S. 131 and Lovers Lane in Lockport Township. The driver left the scene, failing to check on the well-being of the other party, authorities said.

The four-door vehicle is silver and was taken in the early morning hours Jan. 21 from a residence in the 54000 block of Johnson Road.
