Centreville’s Summer Learning Program is taking shape, interim superintendent Chad Brady reported.
Brady on Monday updated board of education members on the program, which will start June 21 and end August 3. He said the district has put together a strong and beneficial opportunity for potential participants.
The program will be structured to half days with no Fridays. Also, there will be no classes the week of the Fourth of July.
In all, the district’s summer school will cover 84 hours over the course of 24 days. Classes start at 8 a.m., end at 11:30 a.m. and take place in the high school cafeteria.
Transportation, breakfast and lunch will be provided, Brady said.
