Constantine village manager contract approved

Constantine municipal officials Monday approved a two-year contract for village manager Mark Honeysett.

Honeysett’s previous contract expired March 31.

With a new contract in hand, Honeysett’s annual salary is $88,000.

Village council members were asked to prepare an assessment of the past performance of the village manager.

Results were compiled, summarized and presented in a six-page report, which was reviewed by the personnel committee, whose members reported a favorable recommendation.

Honeysett was last evaluated in 2015.

  1. Yearly review not done for 7 years? Yeh why bother? Council members have said they work for the manager! No wonder why we are a pot village.

  2. Is he making as much as when he was both manager and police chief?
