Kristopher Lynn Leeder, age 43, of Marcellus, passed away early Monday, April 11, 2022.
He was born in New Braunfels, Texas on November 15, 1978, the son of Alan and Kathi Leeder.
On October 10, 2020 at their lake house, he married Andria Sue McSpadden, who survives him in death.
Kristopher was a graduate of Marcellus High School in 1997. He was a veteran of the US Army and served from July 1997 to March 2006, including a tour in Iraq. Kristopher was awarded several medals and served his country honorably. Kristopher’s last request was to have everyone remember all those who have fallen trying to defend our flag and country.
Kristopher is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Andria of Marcellus; daughter, Kadence Leeder, mom and dad, Kathi and John R. Carney, Sturgis, father Alan Leeder, San Antonio TX, brothers; Jayson Wallace (Janet Horvath) of South Bend; Dru Carney (Sheona) of Green Bay, WI; Sam (Jessica) Carney of Marcellus; Cory Leeder of Nacogdoches, TX; sister Chelsea Leeder Wilson (Kyle), Bertram, TX; Grandmother Doris Thornton of Sturgis; Grandfathers, Arlen Leeder, San Antonio, TX, John P Carney, Kalamazoo and Kim and Steve MacGregor, other aunts, uncles, several cousins and numerous nephews and nieces. Also surviving are special Army Comrades Jason (Tina) Gilbert, James (Jennifer) Fletcher,
Preceded him in death was his much-loved Grandpa, Maynard Gray, Grandma and Martha Jacobs Taylor.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life for Kristopher will be held April 15, 2022 at 11:30 am for family, 12:00 pm visitation, and service at 1:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church 55437 Wilbur Rd. Three Rivers, MI 49093. Memorial donations may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org in honor of Kris.
