Susan Cowan, 70

Susan D. Cowan, age 70, of Sturgis,  passed away Tuesday evening, April 5, 2022 at her home.
She was born June 16, 1951 in Coldwater, daughter of the late Roy and Violet (Hughes) Miller.
Susan resided most of her life in Sturgis.
She had been employed by Summit Polymers in Sturgis for several years and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis and enjoyed crafts.
Susan is survived by one daughter: Christina Roberts of Virgie, Kentucky; two sons: Frank (Kelly) Cowan, Jr. of Elkhorn City, Kentucky and Matthew Cowan of Sturgis; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister: Jenny Hagen of Sturgis; two half-sisters: Marjorie Crocker of Kalamazoo and Lois Wadsworth of Sherwood and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Cheryl Jourdan; three brothers: Larry Miller, Ron Miller and Douglas Miller; two half-sisters: Edith Hakes and Patricia McNabb and a half-brother: Charles Miller.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
