Catherine Louise Wilcox, age 83, of Fawn River Township, Sturgis, passed away Thursday morning May 12, 2022 at her home.
She was born August 3, 1938 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Homer and Margaret (Neff) Smith.
Catherine resided most of her life in Fawn River.
Catherine worked as an Aid with the Sturgis Public Schools for many years and she was a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading and watching television.
She is survived by her children: Chris (Anna) Wilcox of Burr Oak, Brian Wilcox of Sturgis, Jon (Michele) Wilcox of Sturgis, Carla Foster of LaGrange, Richard Wilcox of Sturgis and Theresa Tabisula of Nevada; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters: Marion Smith of Sturgis, Margaret Mengle of Catskills, New York and Frances Robinson of Hurley, New York and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Phyllis Rumler and Karen Argunton; one son: Larry Wilcox and one brother: Jim Smith.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
