Tracy V. Bainbridge, age 69, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born on December 14, 1952.
Tracy was a graduate of Three Rivers High School. On July 7, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Kathy, and they proceeded to build a life together. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed traveling during his truck driving years. Despite never learning how to read music, he taught himself to play guitar by ear and became the lead guitarist of a local band, Mellow Daze.
In the early 80’s, Tracy started Commercial Painters and later, American Tree Service. He took great pride in his work and made many new lifelong friends through his customers. When he wasn’t working, you could find him at one of the local racetracks or heading somewhere fun to go camping in his motorhome. He loved all things nature and country and looked forward to 4-wheeler and canoe trips with family and friends.
Tracy will be missed by his daughter Christina (Paul) Lubieniecki, his son Matthew (Allison) Bainbridge; His grandchildren Jared, Ryan and Alex Lubieniecki and Oliver Bainbridge; his mother Carole Taylor-Borden as well as brothers Jeff (Debbie) Bainbridge, Chris (Ruby Yoder) Bainbridge, Casey Bainbridge; Sisters Dawn (Pat) Kane, Sherri Stutsman, and Darcy Borden as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, Marge, his dog Cooper and many friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, his father Bill: brothers Mike, Sam, Rusty, Billy and his sister Sandy.
The family will be holding a celebration of life, just as he would have wanted, Saturday, June 11, at 2:00pm at his residence, 58335 County Line Road, Three Rivers. Memorial donations may be directed to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
