James “Scott” Hufford, age 55, passed away at his home in Three Rivers on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
He was born in Greensburg, PA, on December 13, 1966, the son of James V. Hufford and Elizabeth (Tulloch) Hufford.
James was kind, loving and passionate. He was a dedicated father and friend who will be missed by all who loved him. He had a passion for engines, automobiles and motorcycles which lead him to a career as a mechanic at Mark’s Automotive in Jones.
When not working on cars he enjoyed watching mechanic shows on television, attending races, riding dirt bikes and street bikes. He loved being on the open road and made many friends along the way.
Above all Scott loved his family, was especially proud of his sons, and leaves them with many happy memories to cherish.
He is survived by two children, Zach (Allison) Hufford and Derek Hufford; mother, Elizabeth; siblings, Jean (Mark) Hawkins and John Hufford; nieces, Elizabeth and Aynsley; stepmother, Barb Hufford; former spouse, Julie Buys; faithful companion pets, “Mia” and “Momo”; and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his father.
Cremation will take place and the family will announce a memorial service to honor his life at a later date.
