Burr Oak hosts Heritage Festival

St. Joseph County’s smallest community has big plans for its four-day festival, starting Thursday.

The annual Burr Oak Heritage Festival kicks off at 4 o’clock tomorrow with an old-car and old-truck cruise-in. Other opening-day highlights include Brats and Bingo 5 to 7 p.m. in the big tent on Front Street; a children’s movie starting at 7 o’clock at Railroad Park; a light parade starting at 9 p.m. on Front Street; and a River of Light event at 9:30 p.m. on the Main Street bridge.
