Dema E Palmer, age 93, of White Pigeon, died on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Edgewood Health and Rehabilitation after an extended illness.
She was born on February 3, 1929 in Sturgis the Daughter of Delphis and Ruth (Whisler) Hamilton. She was a resident of Arizona for 13 years with most of her life in Sturgis and White Pigeon. She was a Homemaker and was employed at Continental Can in Three Rivers for 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and most of all, time with her family.
Dema married Victor M Palmer on January 18, 1947 in Angola. He died on December 9, 2004. She is Survived by her Daughters Vicky (Charles) Burnau, Suzanne Baker, and Robyn (David) Eckert. Son in law Dennis Hayes, 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter Penny Hayes and Twin Sister Glema Pierson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 with Pastor Barry Edds of the White Pigeon Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
