Search warrant leads to multiple arrests

Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team executed a search warrant last week in Three Rivers, resulting in the arrests of nine people.

SWET members converged Friday outside a residence in the 800 block of 8th Street. Once inside, detectives located methamphetamine, heroin and a weapon. The nine people arrested face a variety of charges and a number of outstanding warrants.

More charges are expected to follow for additional suspects in this investigation. Meanwhile, the drug house is expected to be condemned by Three Rivers Code Enforcement, authorities said.

SWET was assisted by St. Joseph County Sheriff Department’s Special Response Team, St. Joseph County Road Patrol, Three Rivers Police Department and Three Rivers Fire Department.
