Sharon Heath, 75

Sharon Lea Heath, age 75, of Leonidas, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Ascension Borgess-Pip Hospital in Plainwell.  She was born on March 25, 1947 to Carl and Helen (Collyer) MacDonald.  She was a graduate of Mendon High School.  On February 24, 1966 Sharon married Tom Heath in Union City.  Sharon was a lifetime resident and employee of the Leonidas area.  She was a member of the Jay-Cettes and was a volunteer at the Leonidas Fire Department.  Sharon briefly worked at Lear Plastics in Mendon.  She was employed at the Leonidas Post Office for almost 20 years, and was the Leonidas Township Treasurer/ Clerk for over 30 years.  In her free time, Sharon enjoyed crafting, reading, and shopping.  She was known for always calling and checking up on her loving family.  Sharon Loved her animals, especially her rottweilers.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom Heath, two daughters; Dawne Harrison of Mendon, Angela (Shannon) Murphy of Coldwater, seven grandchildren; Shelby Harrison, Cole (Bailey) Harrison, Jac Murphy, Ian Murphy, Cameron (Alyson) Deel, Taylor Harrison, Madalyn Weiss, five siblings; Barry (Mary Lou) MacDonald, Cheryl Moyer, Debra (Greg) Diffendal, Shannon (Donnie) Cerny, Shawn (Christy) Hendrickson.  Her in-laws and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Helen, son-in-law Clint Harrison, parent-in-laws Carl and Verna (Nichols) Heath, brother-in-laws Jerry Moyer, Richard Heath and Douglas Heath, nephews Dougie Heath, Richie Heath, and Michael Whittington.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted.  A memorial service for Sharon will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Leonidas Baptist Church at 2pm with Pastor Dave Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in Leonidas Cemetery.  It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the family.  Condolences and memories may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
