Barbara Ann Miller, age 70, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday August 14, 2022 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
She was born Jan. 17, 1952 in Sturgis, a daughter to the late John and Dorothy (Burgett) Benyi.
On Sept. 27, 1969 in Sturgis, she married Raymond A. Miller.
Barbara had been employed in the fast food industry for over 20 years, working at Burger King, Taco Bell, and spent most of her 20 years at Hardee’s on the Toll Road. She then retired from Atlantic Packaging where she worked for several years.
Her passion in life was crafting. She thoroughly enjoyed all types of crafts and attended many craft shows and sewed many Halloween outfits for her daughters.
She was a member of the Sturgis Eagles.
Surviving are her husband: Raymond; 2 daughters: April (Shane) Tracey of Las Vegas, and Tonia Cornell of Coldwater; 4 grandchildren: Dorothy and Matthew Ballman and Sienna and Tempest Tracey; 1 great-grandson: Rhett Ballman and one more on the way; a sister: Rosie Neice; a brother: Danny Benyi; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters: Dorothy and RuthAnn Beers.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091.
Funeral Services will follow visitation on Friday at 4:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Rodger Moyer, officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, envelopes are available at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis.
