Health department COVID testing moved to Sturgis

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency will be relocating its COVID-19 testing site from Centreville to Sturgis.

The change in locations is effective today. Agency officials said the St. Joseph County Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse location will not be hosting testing sites. Instead, testing opportunities will take place at its Sturgis location, 1555 E. Chicago Road.

The health agency’s office is located in the Medical Commons building, on the southwest corner of U.S. 12 and South Franks Avenue.

The Sturgis curbside testing site will operate every Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is performed free of charge. The Three Rivers site hosts COVID testing 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Friday at its Hill Street location.
