Indra Sulcs Sanford, age 72, of Centreville, passed away Thursday evening, August 4, 2022 at her home.
She was born May 10, 1950 in a displaced persons camp in Germany, daughter of the late Alfred and Katrina Sulcs.
Indra came to the United States as an infant and resided in Sturgis and Centreville.
She owned and operated Amber Myst Alternatives in Three Rivers for several years. She was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Indra was a talented artist. She enjoyed working with stained glass, photography, and belly dancing.
She is survived by her children: Sonya Ludwick of Centreville, Jason Ludwick of Bronson and Jessica (James) Harris of Centreville; seven grandchildren: Nathan Caudill, Kirsten Ludwick, Ruger Ranney, Damion Ludwick, Angel Ludwick, Courtney Harris and Coby Harris and great granddaughter: Delilah Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Verners Sulcs.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
