St. Joseph County Grange Fair officials say they are ready for the start of the annual, seven-day event.
Led by Mindy Timm, marketing director for the St. Joseph County Grange Fair, the annual media luncheon Thursday provided a detailed overview of the 2022 fair. Timm said food vendors, animal barns and commercial barns open at noon Sunday, designated as “Family Day.”
Organizers said rides will not be available Sunday, as crews will be arriving overnight and throughout the day from the Allegan County Fair.
Entrance is $8 for adults, children 10 and under are free.
Timm said new attractions this year include a shark tank, with three shows offered daily.
Another new attraction is Heritage Park. Sponsored by Alpha Building in Nottawa, it will include a display of antique tractors. The area will also feature a blacksmith, corn-shelling machine and other historical attractions.
The Gilmour Car Museum exhibit will be back this year. Also, Timm said, there are two beer stations. The fair’s most-popular attraction, Miracle of Life, is back, too.
