Search warrant leads to drug arrest

Methamphetamine, meth paraphernalia, crack cocaine and cocaine paraphernalia were located last week inside a Cass County residence.

A search warrant secured by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team led to the discovery at a residence in the 500 block of East State Street in Cassopolis.

In addition, a 48-year-old man at the residence was arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine and maintaining a drug house.

His name is being withheld pending arraignment in District Court.
